This trip we finally decided to organise some surf lessons. I had read through many posts on Tripadvisor and finally decided on a surf instructor called Ketut. He runs Silver Surf Bali - wow, what an amazing guy Ketut is - we were not disappointed, from his punctuality to his caring, thoughtful nature!!!!
Even though Kash was really sick and only spent a little bit of time in the water, he did manage to get up within a short amount of time. I was able to kneel, but not stand up - which is actually a reflection on my severe lack of flexibility rather than the quality of my teacher.
Col, however, was an absolute champ. He was quickly able to stand up, and spent a great deal of time riding the Kuta waves!!!
If you get the chance - go for a surf, it is the best fun ever!!
